Born and raised in South Florida, I have been fishing the Florida waters since 1976. I moved to the Florida Keys in 2000 and started fishing professionally in 2004. I am a father of four children (two daughters and two sons) who all love being on the water and fishing. I started my fishing career on a party boat and continued to run charters and private fishing boats over the last 20 years.

Target Species

We target a mix of iconic species inshore, nearshore, and offshore.

Barracuda

These toothy predators are known for their aggressive strikes and powerful runs. While barracuda can be caught year-round, the best time to target them is during the summer months when water temperatures are warm. Live bait, such as pilchards or mullet, is a popular choice for attracting barracuda.

Sailfish

Sailfish are known for their incredible speed, aggressive eats, epic fights, and wild acrobatics. The peak season for sailfish in the Keys is typically from November through April, although they can be caught year-round. Live bait, such as pilchards or goggle-eyes, is a popular choice for targeting sailfish.

Grouper

The Keys have a variety of Grouper species, including gag grouper, black grouper, and red grouper. The best time to target these fish is during the spring and summer when the water is warm and fish are feeding. We target Grouper over reefs and wrecks with live bait and heavy tackle.

Blackfin Tuna

Blackfin Tuna frequent the waters offshore of Islamorada year-round. We target them offshore using live bait like pilchards and blue runners. These hard-fighting fish are some of the best-eating fish you'll catch off the coast of the Keys.

Snapper

The Keys are home to a variety of snapper species like yellowtail snapper, mangrove snapper, and mutton snapper. Snapper fishing is typically best when the water temps are warm. We target them around artificial reefs, bridges, and other structure. Snapper are great eating and easy to catch.

Jack

Amberjack and Jack Crevalle are popular species on our offshore trips due to their powerful fights and typically large size. Their aggressive strikes and widespread availability make them an easy target and fun fighting fish for our clients.
