Lobster Bully Netting
Experience the thrill of nighttime Bully Netting for lobster, one of the easiest and most exciting ways to catch lobster during the season. These trips take place in the evening when lobsters walk the flats to feed. Using underwater lights and a trolling motor, we quietly sneak up on them, drop the net, and scoop them up, making sure they are legal size and not females, before placing them in the live well for you to take home. All equipment and licenses are provided, so all you need to bring is some drinks and a smile for a fun, hands-on lobster adventure in the beautiful Florida Keys.
Where We Go
On our Bully Netting trips, we explore the shallow flats and calm backcountry waters of Key Largo and Islamorada, where lobsters are most active in the evenings. In Key Largo, popular areas include Florida Bay flats near Tavernier and the waters around John Pennekamp State Park, while in Islamorada, we often target flats near Lower Matecumbe, Upper Matecumbe, and Snake Creek. These spots provide ideal conditions for sneaking up on feeding lobsters under the glow of our underwater lights, offering both exciting action and the chance to enjoy the serene beauty of the Keys at sunset.
