Sandbar Trips
Enjoy a day of fun and relaxation in paradise on the water with our Sandbar Trips. We’ll pick you up from your resort or vacation home whenever possible and take you to the sandbar of your choice, there are several great spots to explore. Onboard, we provide a large water mat, chairs, and floats so you can lounge comfortably in the shallow, crystal-clear waters. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks, or we can arrange beverages of your choice for an additional cost. Sandbar trips are perfect for socializing with others or finding a quiet spot to unwind, making it a versatile and memorable way to spend time in the Keys.
Where We Go
On our Sandbar Trips in the Upper Florida Keys, we cruise to some of the area’s most popular shallow-water hangouts in Key Largo and Islamorada. In Key Largo, favorites include the Emerald Reef Sandbar and areas near John Pennekamp State Park, where the water is clear and perfect for floating or swimming. In Islamorada, we can visit spots near Snake Creek, Upper Matecumbe, or the Tavernier Sandbar, all known for their calm, shallow waters and scenic surroundings. Whether you’re looking for a lively social atmosphere or a quieter, more secluded spot, these sandbars offer the perfect backdrop for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the beauty of the Keys.
What's Included
Hop on the Lil Buzzy, where we’ve got everything covered! Just bring your snacks, lunch, water, and beverages (alcohol ok). We have a large cooler packed with ice.
Your trip will include all the necessary licenses for the day.

I will pick you up where you are staying if possible. If not, please contact me to arrange a pick up based on your location.
What To Bring
Come prepared for the weather. We recommend long-sleeved SPF apparel and pants. In the Keys, rain can pop up at almost any time, so a rain jacket is great to have handy, but sometimes the rain is a great cool down during a hot day on the water. Be sure to bring all the food and beverages you’ll need for a day on the water.

Born and raised in South Florida, I have been fishing the Florida waters since 1976. I moved to the Florida Keys in 2000 and started fishing professionally in 2004. I am a father of four children (two daughters and two sons) who all love being on the water and fishing. I started my fishing career on a party boat and continued to run charters and private fishing boats over the last 20 years.
