Shark / Tarpon Fishing
Experience the thrill of Shark and Tarpon Fishing right in our backyard of the Upper Florida Keys. These trips are designed for anglers seeking the excitement of big, hard-fighting fish tight to shore on the shallow bridges and flats around our keys. Tarpon are generally most active in the spring and early summer months, offering unforgettable battles as they leap and fight on the line. Sharks are available year-round, with nurse sharks being the most common catch, while bull sharks, lemon sharks, and blacktip sharks also provide the chance for an epic fight and an adrenaline-packed day on the water.
These trips are all about action, excitement, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re chasing the acrobatic leaps of tarpon or the raw power of a large shark, each catch provides a challenge that will keep you on your toes. Perfect for experienced anglers or anyone looking for a high-energy fishing adventure, this charter offers the chance to target some of the most thrilling species the Keys have to offer, all while enjoying the scenic beauty and warm waters of the region.
Where We Go
On our Shark and Tarpon charters, we explore our prime fishing grounds of the Upper Florida Keys, focusing on areas known for strong tarpon runs and healthy shark populations. We fish the shallow flats, channels, and passes where tarpon gather during their migration, as well as deeper waters and reef edges where sharks are commonly found. Depending on conditions and the season, we may also explore spots near Islamorada, Lower Matecumbe, and around the Gulfside bridges, giving you access to both calm, scenic waters and more challenging offshore locations. These routes maximize your chances of hooking large, hard-fighting fish while enjoying the beauty of the Keys.

What To Bring
Come prepared for the weather. We recommend long-sleeved SPF apparel and pants. In the Keys, rain can pop up at almost any time, so a rain jacket is great to have handy, but sometimes the rain is a great cool down during a hot day on the water. Be sure to bring all the food and beverages you’ll need for a day on the water.
If you want to bring your own fishing tackle, you’re welcome to bring it, but we use only the best rods, reels, and tackle.
